Creeping up on us is the desTINAtion 2023 Festival!
All for a good cause, this day is a one day rock and metal event held across two stages with no clashes.
Headliners Tigertailz, with Molly Karloff, Vambo, The Hot Damn, Ashen Reach, The Wicked Jackals, Unknown Refuge, White Raven Down, Zac and The New Men, Backwoods Creek, Bad Actress, Pretty Babs, and Pete K Mally Compere! A full day music extravaganza.
Many of you will know of the tragic and recent passing of the lovely Tina Sherwood. She was an amazing person who loved her music and her family. She nurtured and encouraged many up and coming younger generation bands that are the future of our scene. She is greatly missed. Over the last few years we have lost many from our music scene, ordinary people with extraordinary hearts; normal people like you and us. When rock stars pass on, stages are named after them and every year they are remembered. This isn’t for them! This is for Tina and those just like her whom we knew and loved. If you’ve lost someone dear.....this is for YOU.
Along with the bands and the general mayhem, there will be food vendors and merch. There is also an area where you can go and raise a glass for loved ones, raise a middle finger to the reason they are gone, light a candle if you want, and then go back to raise hell in front of the stages.
Everything made on this goes straight to the charity of Tina’s family’s choice.
