🌳The magical Bobeam Tree is taking root at the Millennium Gallery from Sat 20 Jun! Get ready to explore a world of interactive discovery for 0–5-year-olds and their grown-ups. 🧸 We’ve teamed up with The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood and National Portrait Gallery to welcome this special Tree to Sheffield this summer! The Tree needs young curiosity and imagination to flourish – join us to play, learn and explore together through stories and activities inspired by Sheffield’s collections, including artworks, animals, dressing-up and toys! The Bobeam Tree first delighted young visitors at the National Portrait Gallery last spring, where it marked the launch of The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood’s Shaping Us Framework, spearheaded by The Princess of Wales. The framework aims to increase understanding across society of the social and emotional skills that matter most in life – skills that shape who we are, how we manage our emotions and thoughts, communicate with others and explore the world around us. The foundations for the development of these skills are laid in the first five years of life. Exhibition details: The Bobeam Tree Sat 20 Jun – Sun 30 Aug Millennium Gallery, Sheffield Free entry, please donate £5 to help send imaginations soaring! Find out more, link in comments!
