A STATEMENT FROM DEMPSEYS BAR AND CLUB
We're extremely pleased to say that we have had a very lengthy and incredibly productive meeting with South Yorkshire Police this afternoon. At this meeting we discussed policing problems, issues in the area, and agreed a common path forward. We are delighted that Lauren Poultney, Chief Constable, has been in contact with us, and that our grievances have been treated seriously and promptly by a senior officer. To be honest, we couldn't have wished for a better response. Hard work lies ahead, but we are confident that we can work alongside the police to provide a safer environment outside. Thank you to everyone who has offered words of support in what has been a very difficult week. Now let's get back to the business of enjoying ourselves.
