Many times had this Holme defibrillator been deployed to an emergency, not needed. Yesterday it was deployed to a gentleman in cardiac arrest and was used, after effective CPR & three shocks delivered, the patient began to regain his heart rhythm. A massive well done to the patients brave wife for doing the CPR. A big thank you to their daughter & friend for going to fetch the defibrillator. The Patient is now in the good hands of Royal Papworth Hospital, we would to wish the patients brave wife a full recovery & love to the family❤️❤️ Some words from Sue (Patients Wife)- “I know you think it's scary to use one of these machines but it was so easy. If you get a chance to brush up those first day skills please do. My husband is only 51! It could happen to anyone. So give your loved ones an extra kiss and hug and don't forget to tell them you love them all the time. God bless you all x”
