The Clause are a four-piece from Birmingham who have been jamming together since childhood. Blending the swagger of the 60s, the rolling groove of the 80s and the riotous verve and attitude of the 90s are Pearce Macca (front man), Niall Fennell (drummer) Jonny Fyffe (bassist) and Liam Deakin (guitarist).
The Clause are a band that are currently riding a huge wave of hype and acclaim due to the steady stream of indie rock and roll bangers that they have been releasing over the last few years. From ‘Shut Me Out’ to ‘In My Element’ the band have provided the Birmingham music scene with something fresh and exciting that has even managed to turn heads at Universal Music, with the quartet signing a record deal with the label late last year.
Having smashed through the glass ceiling and with no telling to heights that the lads can reach, we figured that it was about time that we get acquainted with one of the centerpieces of the Birmingham music scene.
