Shola Ama takes the stage at Sheffield Soul Festival this June
After making it big in her native U.K., soul-pop princess Shola Ama issued her American debut In Return in fall 2000. Her first album, 1997's Much Love, went platinum and earned Ama four Top Ten hits, and the BRIT award for Best British Female the following year.
