*** SALSA IN THE SQUARE – SUNDAY 24 AUG*** 📣📣📣 WOW! – yet another brilliant event last Sunday for final Salsa in the Square of 2025 – and for once we didn’t have to worry about the good old British weather in the build up! 😊 The whole team/performers were once again incredible, with an atmosphere to match with a sea of smiling faces everywhere 😊enjoying one fabulous fiesta 🎉💃🕺 A MASSIVE MUCHAS GRACIAS 🙏to everyone for once again making the event a great success — special mentions include: ✨Our co-hosts and compere the wonderful RICHARD CHONGTHAM (RCDANCE) & the lovely DJ ANNA DE ORTE for all the energy ⚡and the work that’s done behind the scenes! 🎶TIMBA DE CUBA our fantastic 8-piece Latin band – a class act! 🎺🎹🥁👏 🎧Our FAB 5 DJs – ANNA, ROLY, EBO, SABROSO and BRITANICO – who together with our two fabulous musicians ARMANDO MURILLO (Congas) 🪘& KENT ROACH (Sax) 🎷kept the Barrio Latino party going inside all night long! 🌙🎉🔥 💃MARIE_CLAIRE & MELISSA (SABROSO DANCE COMPANY) for their brilliant show celebrating Rumba, Salsa & Mambo and of course TANGO IN THE PEAKS featuring MARCELINO FERNANDEZ and EMMA HALL for a wonderful Tango dance display 👨‍🍳Our amazing CUBANA STAFF for all their hard work, high energy, and positive vibes ✨in what was an extremely long but thoroughly enjoyable fiesta 🎊 🎛️RYAN TAYLOR for his hard work, technical/musical mastery 🎶 🛡️The whole SECURITY TEAM for making a safe environment and looking after everyone, 🎥Jacob Greatorex with LVL Visual for the videos and filming 🎬with the full after movie to follow! 📸Emma Lou Photography for capturing all of the fun on camera, the fruits of which we’ll be able to see on this page before too long 📲 🤝Leopold Square and Havana Club for their sponsorship and continued support 🥃🏛️ ✨Last but not least – EVERYONE THAT CAME and those who continue to come year after year! 🙏💃🎉 📅That’s it for Salsa in the Square this year BUT the save the date for the next SALSA IN THE SQUARE taking place on SUNDAY 3 MAY 2026 🗓️🔥 MUCHAS GRACIAS everyone👋😘 ADRIAN, RICHARD, ANNA, ALL @ CUBANA and the TEAM AT LEOPOLD SQUARE xx 💌🎶
