You may have heard about the bill passed in Uganda this month that passed the death penalty for homosexuality. DINA supports LGBTQ+ rights. We do what we can to support safe spaces, gender expression and queer joy here in Sheffield. However, we know that this is a luxury for so many LGBTQ people in the international community.
There are many parts of the world including Uganda that LGBTQ people’s human rights are being violated. We just wanted to highlight the fundraiser for Uganda formed by a group of LGBTQ Ugandans and UK allies from the arts, electronic music and activist community who are rallying to support at risk individuals.
