MEET THE COMPOSERS: DUNCAN CHAPMAN
Duncan Chapman is a composer / musician based in Lincolnshire. Recent projects include online live events, a residency at EMS in Stockholm,curating a concert for the Aural Diversity project and performances (with Supriya Nagarajan) at the Jaipur Literature Festival in India and at the 2022/23 WOMAD festivals.
Current projects include online performances with Comb Filter and Humbox, an album of marimba and live electronic pieces with Simon Limbrick and a duo album with Shakuhachi player Mike McInerney. He is also leading education and participation projects for Music in the Round, running workshops for Conductive Music and creating underwater music in SEN schools for musical hydrotherapy organisation Liquid Listening.
