✨ COMPOSING SUCCESS ✨
This year Music in the Round launched WeCompose, a scheme introducing young people in Year 9 to chamber music composition. They had the opportunity to compose wind quintets for our Bridge ensemble to perform at special events across South Yorkshire. In the last two weeks we have heard fantastic work from 183 pupils across 10 schools, mentored by three brilliant composers: Ellen Sargen (who also headed up the project), Georgia Denham and Laurence Osborn. We can’t wait to see what these amazing young composers go on to do!
