COMPOSER CALL-OUT!
We are looking for professional composers at various stages of postgraduate career to help us deliver our transformative in-schools composition project, WeCompose.
What does the role look like?
➡️ Working creatively with 14-16 year olds in schools across the country in a range of musical styles and genres, supporting them to compose their first pieces of music
➡️ Being matched with 6 to 9 classes across a region, acting as an enthusiastic and compassionate role model while sharing a wide variety of music to inspire young people's creativity
➡️ Being team-orientated and happy to collaborate with teachers, other composers, ensembles and Music in the Round to meet the diverse needs of classrooms with different teaching methods, softwares and challenges
➡️ Wanting to develop skills in working with young people, attending ongoing professional development as pertains to this role
