COULD YOU BE A TRUSTEE?
Like many arts organisations, Music in the Round has a board of trustees that helps us make informed decisions, ensures our finances and legal aspects are in order, and offers advice, expertise and support. It’s also a way of us listening to and working together with a range of people so we hear and engage with different voices. It is an exciting time for us after celebrating our 40th anniversary in 2024 as we look ahead to moving into Harmony Works, the new centre for music education opening in the centre of Sheffield.
We are currently seeking up to three new trustees, who believe in our aim of bringing people and music closer together.
In particular we are keen to hear from anyone who feels they are under-represented in chamber music. We also would like to meet people who work with or have knowledge of neighbourhood/community organisations in Sheffield and nearby areas.
