With exceptional dexterity and expressive nuance, Faris Ishaq blends intricate melodies with dynamics beats. As a master of the Nay (an ancient Middle Eastern flute), percussionist and composer, he has created a distinctive solo setup playing the Nay alongside a leg-mounted frame drum and foot percussion, and weaving these sounds together to produce a multi-layered acoustic solo performance.
