Bachelor John Worthing, raised in the country by his adopted family, escapes to Town as alter ego “Mr Ernest Worthing”. Meanwhile Algernon, John’s friend from Town, has a similar scheme, escaping to the country to visit his sick friend “Bunbury”. As both John and Algernon’s schemes grow more desperate & spiral out of control, will their declaration of love towards Gwendolen and Cecily finally catch them out once and for all?
