MEET THE TEAM… Next up is Alison Abankwa our Youth & Communities Coordinator! Who am I? Hello I am Alison and I am currently the Youth and Participation Trainee at The Montgomery Theatre and Arts Centre✨ A Fun Fact about me is that I love fine art, particularly portraiture and pottery, and all creative arts generally! I am also very passionate about music🎶🎨 What do I do here? Here at The Montgomery Theatre and Arts Centre I have been involved in a variety of workshops and events that involve using the creative arts as a means of expression and freedom for many young people. I will soon be officially joining The Montgomery Team as a full time Youth and Participation Officer in July which I am very excited for! My Best Monty Memory would definitely have to be the first 'Monty on the Move' project that I was involved with during my summer internship in 2022. It was such an exciting project to be involved in, I really enjoyed the process of planning and also implementing the activities and project ideas that we had discussed and put together as a team. It was a very memorable experience that I consider to be a highlight of mine here at The Montgomery. My favourite part of being in the Monty Team would be the collaborative and hard-working ethos that every member of the team has.
