This weekend, there will be lots of booms and flashes as we celebrate Bonfire Night, but Monty Mouse just wanted to remind all of their friends to stay safe. Ifin doubt, just remember the name of everyone's favourite Sheffield mouse... Monty!
Material - Keep sparklers and fire away from coats, hats, pants or anything made of material
Outside - Fireworks should only ever be lit outdoors and Monty ecnourages all of their friends to attend big safe outdoor displays rather than risky garden parties!
Night Time - Fireworks always look best in the dark, but remember to wear hi-vis and colourful clothing so you canbe seen by the Big People with you!
Torch - Make sure to keep a little torch at all times so you can light the way in the dark
You! - Your Big People can try and keep you as safe as possible, but you need to remember to keep yourself safe especially if there are lots of people around
AND REMEMBER - only grown ups and your big people should be lighting fireworks, bonfires and you shouldo only use sparklers when they are close by and watching!
