Yesterday, our wonderful theatre featured on BBC Look North with reporter Tom Ingall taking a closer look at the £1.5 million capital redevelopment.
Joined by Sheffield Theatres’ Artistic Director Elizabeth Newman and Chief Executive Tom Bird, the report pays homage to our history and dedication towards supporting local amateur dramatic companies and our vibrant future within the Sheffield Theatres family.
Elizabeth Newman highlighted the sheer appetite for amateur theatre in Sheffield, with Tom Bird stating the important role The Montgomery plays within the community along with the role Sheffield Theatres will play in continuing to support the work we do.
