Meet Ollie Parker our Events and Hires Co-ordinator!
WHO AM I?
Hello! I'm Ollie and I'm the events and hires coordinator at the Monty. I'm originally from London but have lived in Sheffield for the last 6 years. I've previously worked predominately in Sheffield's music scene, running parties Club Pogo and Steel Selektions and my last job was as Venue and Events Manager at Sidney & Matilda. I'm excited to get involved with Sheffield's lovely theatres and help the Monty grow and grow!
A FUN FACT?
I have an embarrassing amount of under 10s ballroom dancing medals.
WHAT I DO HERE?
I'm the first point of contact for all of our lovely clients who want to hire our space, taking them through the booking process and generally running the calendar. If you want to put something on at the Monty, I'm your man!
MY FAVOURITE PART OF BEING IN THE MONTY TEAM?
Coming to work every day with a bunch of super nice humans, having a good laugh even when things get stressful and working closely with the Sheffield community to grow our culture and provide opportunities for our young people.
