Facebook post by The National Videogame Museum

Second and third year students from @sheffhallamuni visited us, with Thomas Battey (Course Leader: BA(Hons) Game Design & Development) recently, as part of a live, cross-disciplinary, brief to create new experimental games for the Museum. The new games will be completed and assessed in the spring, before being considered for inclusion in the Museum’s Lab space - showcasing innovation and experimentation in interaction, design and accessibility. "Our students are excited to work with the NVM on a brief that focuses on play in an exhibition space. It’s a unique opportunity for them to better understand games as archival artefacts and to design for a public play space, focusing on accessible family-friendly gameplay." Tom Battey, Course Leader: BA(Hons) Game Design & Development, Sheffield Hallam University. Watch this space, we might have some new and fun games to play in the summer! #gamemaking #SheffieldHallam #Videogameproduction #NationalVideogameMuseum
