The SID Chip (Sound Interface Device) takes centre stage during our May half term activities 🎵
Children and adults alike will be able to create their own videogame music using a SID chip emulator as well as play a SID chip emulated keyboard to create music for classic Commodore 64 games on a big screen 🎹
The SID chip was a crucial component of the Commodore 64. It was responsible for generating both sound and music and it was regarded as one of the most advanced sound chips of its time.
The SID chip had a significant impact on the development of videogame music and many of it's games (like The Last Ninja and Ghosts 'n Goblins) featured memorable soundtracks that were created using the SID chip.
Come create music and play rhythm based music games this half term! Book tickets ⬇
