We're spending some time lovingly caring for our Super Mario NES cartridge and we thought we'd share the best way to clean the connectors on game carts.
Firstly, if you notice your game isn't working, don't blow on it! (Yes, we've all done this 😂). Moisture from your breath can actually cause the contacts to corrode.
Instead, our legendary technician Gordie, demonstrates here that all you need is a cotton bud and some rubbing alcohol (a.k.a. surgical spirit).
Simply moisten one end with the rubbing alcohol and slide this up and down both side of the contacts. Then use the dry side to wipe off any excess liquid and your good to go!
