We’re super excited to be taking part in @kidsinmuseums Takeover Day again for 2025!
This year, St Mary's CE Academy will be taking over the museum tomorrow and taking part in our ‘Museum Maker’ workshop, where they will get the chance to become mini-curators for the day and explore the different roles and responsibilities needed to make the museum run.
Last year, we invited three local SEND schools to take over the museum. They had a fantastic time creating ideas for new exhibits and games for the Museum. They even pitched their ideas to the rest of the class.
We can’t wait to see what this year's group come up with!
