Explore our new look Arcade as we showcase a narrative focus on how arcades became vibrant social spaces in the 1980’s and early 1990’s.
Enjoy the newly introduced arcade game Tempest (a vector based game from 1981) as well as taking part in brand new activities ideal for all the family, including:
👾 High score competition with Space Invaders
🕹 Learn how joysticks work in a new object handling activity
🎨 Design mini arcade cabinets in arts and crafts activities
Play together this summer as the NVM introduces a fresh new look celebrating videogame history and culture with 100+ games and unique exhibitions.
