Our new Physics Exhibit is ready to go!
Explore 6 newly installed games that focus on both fun gameplay uses of physics in LocoRoco, Turbo Dismount and Kerbal Space Program as well as a look at the evolution of physics based game engines.
A brief history of in-game physics and physics based game engines is explored in Thrust, Jurassic Park: Trespasser and Portal 2.
Play through 25 years of developments in videogame physics from controlling a simple spacecraft to escaping a dinosaur infested island to using the laws of physics to solve puzzles!
We will also be hosting CERN and the University of Sheffield as they invite visitors to explore the Large Hadron Collider facility in a 360 degree virtual tour - all half term week!
