🕹 Exploring the world of physics 🔭 We've introduced a brand new workshop for our Educational Visits package, that explores the world of physics through videogames and CERN’s ATLAS Detector. Developed by the Museum’s award winning learning team, in collaboration with The University of Sheffield and CERN, students can explore the world of physics through videogames and get a glimpse into the world of particle physics at CERN, the Large Hadron Collider and the ATLAS detector in Switzerland. Students will be able to remotely explore the ATLAS detector through a guided 360° tour, learn about the impact of physics on videogame development and implementation, and then work in groups to create a concept for a new videogame located at CERN. Aimed at key stages 3 and 4 and further education students, the workshop is ideal for physics, computing and art and design curriculum subjects and helps develop vital STEAM based skills. https://thenvm.org/learning/educational-visits/#NVM #CERN #UniversiotyofSheffield #SchoolTrips #Visit #Educational #Education #STEAM #STEM #Physics #LargeHadronCollider #ATLAS #Videogames #Games #Learn
