☀ Summer Fun at the NVM: The Lab 🕹
Alongside our revamped Arcade our popular Lab area also sees a refresh for the summer holidays.
Designed to encourage creativity, the Lab emphasises how we can all be game makers!
Create your own games using game making tools like Scratch and Twine, while also learning about game making culture in a brand new display depicting game creation from the early days of the ZX Spectrum to expanding game content via modding.
Visitors can also enjoy experimental games created by @sheffhallamuni students and play games exclusive to the NVM - like our Super Snowball Fight Party.
We love seeing visitors creativity, like seen here in this image with our little visitor creating retro art on Mario Paint while dad (background) revisits 1980's coding on our BBC Miro computer!
