๐ŸŽฎ Celebrating A Nintendo Legend ๐Ÿ•นโ  โ  Today marks the fifth anniversary since the late, great Nintendo Engineer and Videogame Producer, Masayuki Uemura visited the National Videogame Museum.โ  โ  With a career spanning over 30 years, Uemura was most famous for his work leading Nintendo's Research and Development 2 team, developing the now famous consoles the Nintendo Famicom and its successor the Super Famicom (known in the west as the Nintendo Entertainment System and Super Nintendo Entertainment System).โ  โ  Responsible for many key innovations that transformed the way videogame systems are designed, right up to the present day, Uemura visited the NVM in 2020, where he graciously discussed his videogame career and answered questions from attendees in an exceptionally rare public appearance outside of his native Japan.โ  โ  Uemura's creations have sold over 110 millions units worldwide, and provided the basis for game franchises such as Super Mario, Metroid and The Legend of Zelda.โ  โ  Masayuki Uemura sadly passed away in 2021 but he will be forever remembered fondly at the NVM where we have an object display dedicated to his work and an interactive exhibit showcasing some of his favourite games to play.โ  โ  #NVM #PlayTheMuseumโ  โ  #MasayukiUemura #Legend #Nintendo #Famicom #SuperFamicom #NES #SNES #SuperNintendo #NintendoEntertainmentSystem #Engineer #Videogames #VideogameProducer #Anniversary #SuperMario #Metorid #TheLegendOfZelda
