❓ Can you be the best in Tempest ❓
This week's high score competition features a new addition to our freshly revamped Arcade area.
Released in 1981, Tempest sees players control a claw shaped blaster to destroy enemies using a dial control to move around segments on screen. It was one of the first games to use Atari's Color-QuadraScan vector display technology.
The goal in Tempest is to survive for as long as possible, scoring points by clearing the screen of enemies.
Our current high score stands at 32,209 - can you beat it?
Try to top the leader board and take part in a whole range of activities in the last week of the summer holidays.
