Cliffhanger is back for 2021

Cliffhanger, 'Sheffield’s inner-city festival dedicated to celebrating the outdoors', makes a welcome return over the weekend of 10-11 July 2021.

Cliffhanger will bring a much-needed boost to the city centre as we continue to welcome more people back to experience all that the city has to offer.

Sheffield BID is once again playing a key role in helping to bring Cliffhanger back to the city centre and we're really looking forward to what is sure to be a fantastic weekend.

As we continue to see restrictions eased in line with the Government's roadmap out of lockdown, Cliffhanger will be organised and run in accordance with Step 3 reopening guidance. Whilst this year's Cliffhanger will be a little different to previous years, it will attract more visitors into the city centre. It was estimated that over 50,000 people attended the Cliffhanger weekend in 2019.

Cliffhanger is one of the first events to be confirmed as part of Sheffield’s new Summer in the Outdoor City initiative.
