Introducing our Festival Gallery! Open every day from 11am you will be surrounded by the work of 8 local artists who’s backgrounds reflect the wonderfully wide cultural, neuro, physical and diverse creative backgrounds that have inspired this show.
1. The Burton Street Foundation
An incredible organisation who have created a dedicated art space for Learning Disability Visual Arts in Sheffield.
2. Martin F Bedford
A legend on the Sheffield music scene, working with the likes of Richard Hawley, The Damned, Wilko Johnson, Heaven Seventeen, Nils Logren, Roy Harper and Patti Smith.
3. Gemma Lock
Gemma is an emerging Sheffield talent whose vibrant work which focuses on nature, animals and the abstract
4. Bubba 2000
Renowned Sheffield artist Bubba 2000 carved his name freelancing for graphic novel giants Marvel and Image, followed by a high profile stint as Studio Assistant to a (very!) well known street artist.
5. Rose Murphy
Rose is a whimsical artist who uses a multitude of techniques from photography to decoupage.
6. Uzma Rani
Uzma is pursuing a professional career creating abstract versions of reality inspired by nature and the world around her.
7.Glenroy Powell
In explaining his art Glenroy says “influences include my graphic designer father, graffiti, art, music, (hip-hop, soul, Motown and indeed anything with a good beat!). I paint to the music.”
