Sheffield Lunar Chinese New Year 2024 We're celebrating the Year of the Dragon! Sheffield is gearing up for its annual Lunar Chinese New Year celebrations, traditionally a fundraising event for The Children's Hospital Charity which has been running for many years. This year there's a major addition to the programme with a centrepiece weekend of outdoor entertainment in the city centre Peace Gardens (10-11 Feb) plus amazing cuisine, arts and crafts and children's rides alongside dragon dancing and a fantastic programme of cultural performances. The main entertainment is planned for Sunday, 11 February from 12 noon. As this coincides with half term there's plenty of additional city centre fun for all the family throughout the week including an augmented reality visitor trail - the Dragon is missing! - for kids - running 10 - 16 February. You can find out more about all of these activities at http://tinyurl.com/ycky8494 We look forward to seeing you!
