We're really happy to announce that the Safe Square will be returning to Leopold Square on Friday and Saturday nights (10pm - 5am) following initial indications of the positive impact it's had for reducing A&E admissions; improving confidence in the Night Time Economy and supporting the welfare of visitors to the City Centre! πŸ’š We're currently working with a number of different teams across various authorities to assess the impact the pilot scheme had during December and we hope to have this ready over the coming weeks to build a case for the Safe Square to become a permanent fixture in the City Centre. πŸ’ͺ In the meantime, we'll be here for you if you need: πŸš‘ - Medical assistance or you or one of your friends feels poorly or unwell. 🚨 - Report any suspicious or dangerous behaviour (guide us on what you want us to do: we can report it immediately to all authorities, the City's CCTV network and venues to help keep the City Centre safe.) πŸ”‹ - You need to charge your phone for free! πŸ’¬ - You want a quick cuppa and a chat with one of our trained members of the team πŸ“ - You've lost your mates and want to be safe whilst waiting to meet back up with them. Thank you to the different businesses, venues, authorities and general advocates of the scheme, including: Sheffield Street Pastors Trinity Medical Services Ltd Sheffield BID IPM Group Skyline Leopold Square Welcome to Sheffield South Yorkshire Police Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust Hallam Students’ Union As we always say, we hope you don't need us, but if you do then we've got you ❀️
