💡 Workshop: Simran Creative Lab
You can learn how to still a busy mind before approaching everyday tasks and challenges. You will discover Simran – a focused practice for the mind – whilst making artworks of your own. If you’ve not tried anything like this before, don’t worry – in the workshop you'll be gently guided step by step on how to use Simran before learning how to apply it.

Workshop: Power of Connection
During the afternoon, we’ll uncover our often hidden or underused ability to be creative with others. This relaxed and engaging session will help you discover and practice collaboration as we work collectively to create artworks. Come and enjoy learning new ways to create and experience togetherness using sound, drawing and a few simple instructions. If you haven't done anything like this before, don’t worry – you'll be gently guided step by step as we learn about ‘Sangat’, which means ‘togetherness’.

These workshops are hosted by Without Shape Without Form. They are designed to run alongside the Journey of the Mind exhibition on display at the New Art Exchange, Nottingham until 22 April, which explores how Sikh teachings can be used as tools to help anyone.
