Last week, we welcomed the news that the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) is investing in museums with £1.5 billion funding for culture over the next five years. This includes a 5% uplift in funding for National Portfolio Organisations like us and further rounds of Museums Transformation Funding, both of which are vital to our operations. Investment like this is critical in ensuring museums up and down the country can provide meaningful, inspiring experiences the people they welcome and work with.
