Guided by acclaimed artist and tutor Brian Smith, you’ll go far beyond the basics and will explore colour theory and how to apply it to your practice.
Through a series of hands-on exercises and demonstrations using various media, you’ll explore the full spectrum of colour theory.
This is more than a technique-based session, it’s an invitation to enrich your creative projects with an understanding of how colour works, both in the mind and on the page. You'll leave with an understanding of the emotional and psychological impact of colour, the logic of colour-mixing, the power of monochrome and much more.
Brian brings over 30 years of professional painting experience and 25 years as a sought-after tutor. Known for his clear teaching style and regular contributions to Leisure Painter magazine.
