2023 marks the 70th anniversary of David Mellor’s Pride cutlery. Pride was David’s first cutlery range and is one of the most famous designs by Sheffield’s most renowned designer! Designed while David was at the Royal College of Art, Pride was the first student design put into mass manufacture.
We're delighted to stock the new David Mellor Design Pride limited edition large serving set here at the Millennium Gallery shop, which has an interesting connection to Pride cutlery. It was first manufactured by Walker & Hall, whose Electro Works factory was on the site where the Millennium Gallery is now!
