Our Exhibitions team are busy installing Liliane Tomasko: The Psyche of the Portrait, ready for opening on Saturday 24 May.
The exhibition brings together bold new abstract works by New York-based artist Liliane Tomasko, created directly in response to four striking portraits in Sheffield’s collection by Frank Auerbach, Pierre Bonnard, Kees Van Dongen, and Eduardo Paolozzi. As the final works go on the walls, we can’t wait to welcoming you to the exhibition to experience these powerful explorations of the ever-changing human condition.
