We’re counting down the days to the Welcoming Cultures Celebration 2024 at the Millennium Gallery on Saturday! There is a fabulous range of activities line up for the event:
Throughout the day, there will be a market and food stalls from cultural community groups as well as a pop up photography exhibition, all highlighting the rich cultural heritage of various communities in Sheffield. 😊
From 12pm to 1pm, there will be short talks and films, covering a variety of topics including the heritage of traditional attire, the roots of Polish identity, and the significance of Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller History Month.
At 1.30pm there will be a cultural fashion show, followed by poetry readings and ending with authentic live music and dance performances from 3pm. 💃
Just drop in to this fantastic, FREE event, any time between 11am and 4pm.
