From cogs and gears to collage and sculpture, we've got some great creative sessions for children for the May half-term holiday:
βοΈ Half Term - Cogs and Gears: Much of the machinery in the museum operates by connecting cogs to make gears. Join us for this free family session and find out how they work by making your own gears.

π Kelham Island Museum
πΌοΈ Half Term - Weston Park Designs: In 1834, Robert Marnock won a competition to design the Sheffield Botanical Gardens and later went on to design Weston Park. In this creative session, recreate Marnock's Weston Park design using collage materials.

πΆ Half Term - Relief Sculptures: The Ruskin Collection holds many βreliefβ sculptures (ones that project from a wall or surface) especially casts of sculptures on the sides of buildings. Have a go at creating your own using clay.
