π£ Join us for some fantastic family fun this Easter school holidays! From Sheffield sweets and sculpture, to engineering to print making, weβve got plenty to keep the kids entertained this spring.
All our events are free, but if you are able to, please donate. You donβt need to book a ticket, just drop in on the day.
Print like a Pro: Inspired by printmaker James Greenβs upcoming exhibition at the Millennium Gallery, have a go at making your own animal print.

Flying Futures: Create, tinker and test out your engineering skills with our hands-on activities for 7β12 year olds. Join MakerFutures and The Work-wise Foundation Foundation to find out about the aerospace industry.

Hairy Inventions: Create your own incredible invention that uses recycled hair. You can also see the Hair: Untold Stories exhibition during your visit.

π Weston Park Museum
Georgeβs Sculptures: George Fullard was a Sheffield sculptor who would have been 100 this year. Lots of his work showed people doing an action β using mixed materials, create a sculpture of someone walking, running or stretching.

Sweet Sheffield: As well as being known for steel, Sheffield also has a long history of sweet-making. Come and learn about the city's confectionery past and design your own sweet and wrapper.

Chain Reactions: Lots of incredible inventions have been developed in Sheffield. Invent your own βRube Goldbergβ machine and put together a spectacular system of chain reactions.

As well as all of the workshops above, our sites will be open for you to enjoy and explore β please check our website for the individual opening days and times for each museum. All of our sites are closed every Monday, including Mondays in the school holidays and on Monday bank holidays.
