Last week we held a teacher CPD (continuing professional development) day in collaboration with Historic England and Create Sheffield: Sheffield's Cultural Education Partnership for their 3-day series ‘Know Your Place’, we were the hosts for day two 😊
Historic England led a session on how teachers can use landmarks and heritage in their local area to support curriculum development. And then our School Learning Coordinator showed everyone 'how to' with a tour of Weston Park Museum, followed by a guided walking tour of the city centre, taking in key local landmarks as well as the Graves and Millennium Galleries 🚶♀️
