Meet the Maker time! đź‘‹
Hello, I'm Lucy! I’m a schoolteacher by day, painter by night, and mother of two at all times!
I grew up on a flower farm in North Wales, but now Yorkshire has my heart. I live and work here, painting the rich valleys and bleak moors of the Peak District and the sights around my local area. As well as the landscape, the legacy of modern masters such as Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore and David Hockney in Yorkshire is a source of inspiration to me and my work. I like my paintings to feel nostalgic, and I hope it stirs something familiar in you.
❄️Crafted, the Millennium Gallery's popular shopping showcase, is open now! So, we're taking the opportunity to introduce you to some of the talented makers whose work you'll find there. Call in to the Millennium Gallery to see the full range of makers and pick up a perfect present.
Remember the feel-good factor as every purchase you make in Crafted or our shops raises vital funds to support the life-shaping, eye-opening work of Sheffield Museums. đź’«
