πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈβœοΈ Feel Good Art Club πŸ‹πŸŽ As part of Creativity and Wellbeing week, we wanted to share more about our thinking behind Feel Good Art Club, our twice-monthly mindful drawing session. What makes Feel Good Art Club different from a normal drawing class, is the mindfulness aspect which helps with mental wellbeing. These sessions are about helping you relax, refocus and explore your artistic side in a supportive space. We’ve been running these sessions since 2020 and each session starts with a gentle mindfulness breathing exercise, setting the tone for a calming evening of drawing inspired by themed objects, from autumn leaves to afternoon tea. The sessions are all about reducing stress and discovering the power of creativity to calm the mind and uplift the spirit. It’s all about giving it a go and feeling good. There’s no pressure, no perfection, just time for you and your wellbeing. πŸ“ Millennium Gallery πŸ—“ Wednesday evenings (6 – 7.30pm), twice monthly Upcoming dates: Wed 21 May, Wed 4 Jun, Wed 18 Jun πŸ”— https://www.sheffieldmuseums.org.uk/whats-on/feel-good-art-club-4-june/ #sheffieldmuseums #CreativeWellbeing #MentalHealthAwareness #visitsheffield #whatsonsheff #letscreate @visitsheffield Arts Council England #creativitymatters #wellness #creativitymatters
