Got to love this time of the year for #Oktoberfest #Festbier 😃 L to R we have: đŸș @paulaner Munich based brewery and one of the officially recognised 6 #oktoberfestbier served at the celebration. A lighter golden Pilsner and Munich malt brewed lager with Herkules and Hallertauer Tradition hops. đŸș First time in for @giesinger_brau but we’ve been eyeing up their beers for a while, so pleased to have one finally. And with their Munich well water (they spent €1m plunging 152 metres into the ground to extract) this upstart (relative to the others starting in 2008, at the time being the city’s first official new brewery in 300 years) may be included in the future! But we won’t get involved in the debate
đŸș @ayinger_privatbrauerei are always one of our go to Bavarian breweries and their Fest MĂ€rzen doesn’t disappoint. It’s deeper golden amber hue balanced by floral hops and moreish toastiness. đŸș @zoetlerbier is another traditional family private brewery in Rettenberg, AllgĂ€u. With a history tracing back to 1447. Brewed for the AllgĂ€u Festival Week in August. It’s summery gold with great foamy peaks. đŸșPlus we couldnt resist a UK brewed headnod to the season and style of #lager from Cornwall’s finest @verdantbrew â›łïž A Helles-style lagerbier using Bestmaltz Munich malt for a bread crust taste, with Spalter Select hops.
