☀️ Everyday we’ve been enjoying watching the light bounce around the new Hop Hideout space. Pretty much for the last 3 weeks, we’ve been here every single one of them! We’ll be open for Saturday BUT to be honest some things have just been a little too much to sort in the time. So you’ll find us hanging pictures, adding more furniture (and likely moving it around!), sorting the @emredfearn #beerboard and more bits as we go along. So thanks for understanding 🙏
A huge thank you to everyone who has helped get us to this point. Our new neighbours @leahsyard for lending us ladders, Sally and Bel for doing an epic job on the flowers and planters 🌿 @sweetadelineuk for our stunning merchandising unit. Will for building the counter 🔨 All our suppliers for sourcing stock and deliveries 🍺🍎🍾 All the delivery drivers for finding the new location! @hukins_hops for our fresh #hopgarland AND our friends for lending me their time to listen when it all got a bit too much. We’re finally here!!!
Over the opening weekend we have some events planned:
🖌️Sat 25th Aug @emredfearn will be here doing live #beermat illustrations 12-1pm
✨Sun 26th Aug @lucyyoungceramics will have her potters wheel set-up 11am to 2pm. You can chat and watch her throw (she did all our fab Crowdfunder tankards). You can also have a go for £10 or make your own ceramic beaker for £32. These sessions are roughly 20minutes and if you’re interested DM us to book or send an email. Though you can sign-up on the day.
🍾Mon 27th Aug 12-1pm We’ll have @naturallywines pouring a special bottle of Italian 100% Malvasia white wine from producer Casè. Free samples, limited, once it’s gone, it’s gone. We will also be selling a trio of their portfolio wines open for #bytheglass with 10% discount during the hour.
It’s likely to be busy, the yard does have a capacity, but there should be a good flow throughout each day. So don’t worry too much if there’s a little wait. Cheers 🍺
