Christmas is a time for fun, celebrations together and giving. This Christmas at Katie O’Brien's we are hoping to do all three and will be hosting an event for the older members of our community who might not get the chance to get out and get together quite so regularly.
On Wednesday 11th December our over 70's Christmas party will take place, and tickets are open to all members of the community over the age of 70. We will open solely for them at 12 noon for 3 hours for a drink or two (or three) and a sandwich, mince pie and a singalong. This is a complimentary event, there is no ticket fee and the tills will be turned off. It’s our opportunity to give something back to the local community who look after us throughout the year.
If you think you know someone who would enjoy this event and can make it along, please feel free to tag them or message us. In addition if any local residential care homes think this could be something their residents may enjoy, please email us or contact us on the following sheffield@katieobriensirishtaverns.com and 0114 349 3300.
Tickets will be confirmed and sent out in due course but we do expect this to be popular and ultimately the spaces will fill quickly. Please note we will be closing bookings on Wednesday 4th December, so make sure you contact us with the full names of the guests attending so can add them to the guestlist.
In order to get the word out we would ask you to share this post.
Christmas time at Katie’s is for everyone.
Thanks and we look forward to welcoming you!☘️
All the best from the Katie's team!🎄
