Facebook post by Smoke BBQ Sheffield

To all our SMOKE BBQ customers, After the government’s advice last week, we temporarily closed our dine-in service and chose to continue with takeaway and delivery. Today we have no option but to close these operations with immediate effect! Following the latest government instruction on social distancing and staying home wherever possible, we don’t believe it is right to continue to operate and, therefore, need to suspend our takeaway and delivery services for the time being. We will be ensuring that our ingredients go to food banks and those that would benefit from them the most. I write this with great sadness given the disappointment and impact this will have on so many. However, it is absolutely the right step to take as we all play our part in trying to overcome this. We have received great support for our team and our business through these difficult times and on behalf of us all I wish to express our massive gratitude. At times like these it is important that we all speak the truth, take responsibility for our actions, and share the common goal of getting through to the other end, both personally and professionally! As you know, advice and instructions change on daily basis and I ask for your flexibility and understanding during these very challenging times. We will keep you informed of the further developments as and when they happen. In the meantime, please stay in touch with us via social media, and regularly check your inbox for news and updates as we want to stay connected and in contact with you and seeing you all back, when we are up and running again. Stay safe, stay home! Yours sincerely, Duka Nagy Co-Founder
