How to Take Part in This Year's Photomarathon
Sheffield's Photomarathon, the "one day photography-adventure for all ages" returns to Sheffield City Centre this March. Fancy getting involved? Here's all the information you need to take part:
What? Six photos of six topics over six hours. Entrants are given a different topic to inspire each photo, six in total. All you need is a digital camera or smartphone to take part! Entries cost £10 for either an individual or team of up to 6.
When? 21st March, 10am - 4pm.
Where? Meet at the Winter Gardens to register and collect your topics, then explore the city for inspiration and to take your photos.
Why? Why take part? It's a great opportunity to look at the city through new eyes! Those taking part also receive a badge, exclusive discounts on the day at several of the city's independent cafes and the chance to win exciting prizes in each category, including Harrison Cameras vouchers and the top prize of a camera.
In case you needed more persuasion, at least one photo from each entrant will feature in an exhibition at the Millennium Galleries from 25th April - 21st June for all of Sheffield to see!
