In our latest 'deep dive', we take a look at what Sheffield city centre has lined up to keep everyone entertained during half-term and around the Easter period.
There's everything from exhibitions, creative events, shows and live performances as well as a few very special appearances to look forward to.
So grab your planners, it's time to make the most of what the city centre has to offer at this very special time of year.

Family Time: Alice in Wonderland

Alice stumbles into the world of Wonderland.

This event is delivered in collaboration with Disney and Pixar's new animated film Hoppers.

Ponds Forge International Sports Centre
A LEGO fan event dedicated to all things brick!
A great day for families, collectors, adult builders and every other kind of LEGO fan.
With lots to see and do including speed building competitions, large scale displays, activities, traders selling loose bricks, new LEGO sets, retired LEGO sets, minifigures and accessories plus a dedicated building area.

Westbourne School presents Little Shop of Horrors

It’s-a-me, Mario!
The Italian plumber is a global icon. Created by the legendary game designer Shigeru Miyamoto, Super Mario could be considered to be the modern foundation of Nintendo.
Always ready to rescue Princess Peach from his archenemy Bowser, Mario first appeared in Donkey Kong (1981) and has since appeared in over 200 titles.
Through the Museum's collection, they showcase how Mario games have evolved across 35 years of platforming perfection and damsel-in-distress rescue.

Families can follow the trail in search of Pete McKee designed Easter eggs hidden around both locations.
Once you’ve found them all, head back to Pete McKee’s in Leah's Yard with the all-important magic number to claim a reward.
Little ones will receive a fabulous Easter bonnet to decorate, along with exclusive discounts and vouchers from local retailers.
And the fun doesn’t stop there!
On Tuesday 31 March and Tuesday 7 April, take your bonnet along to Sheffield Plate in Orchard Square for a free Easter Bonnet Decorating Workshop.

Easter Egg Hunt
The Moor
Families are invited to enjoy an egg-citing Easter adventure as The Moor Sheffield hosts its much-loved Annual Easter Egg Hunt this spring.
Taking place on Wednesday 1 April and Thursday 2 April, between 11am and 3pm, this free event will see children and families hunting for hidden Easter surprises across The Moor.
Perfect for keeping little ones entertained during the school holidays, the Easter Egg Hunt offers a fun way to explore The Moor’s wide range of shops, cafés and restaurants while getting into the Easter spirit.
Adding to the excitement, Scales and Tails will be onsite across both days, offering interactive reptile experiences.
Visitors will have the chance to meet and learn about a wide variety of reptiles, with optional hands-on handling available for a small charge. It’s a fantastic opportunity for children to learn something new while having fun.
