From Washington State - Substance… a Charles Smith Cabernet Sauvignon. This 2019 vintage - a cooler, but extended growing, year… yielded fantastic ripening and some awesome wines with incredible balance and character.
On the nose - intense notes of blackberry, dark plum and baking spice while the first sip reveals smooth tannins, a well-built structure and a pure, clean finish with subtle hints of vanilla and liquorice.
This light-hearted red is great to enjoy on its own, or with a selection of our small plates
